Dr. William Krieg
LakePointe Orthodontics originated in the orthodontic practice of Dr. Krieg’s father, the first orthodontist in St. Clair Shores. They worked together for over 20 years, combining excellent care with kindness and office fun.
Dr. Krieg, the second oldest of five children, was raised on the east side.

Dr. Krieg's educational background includes:
- Grosse Pointe South High School – Diploma
- Albion College – Bachelor of Arts
- University of Michigan – Doctorate in Dental Surgery
- University of Detroit – Master’s in Orthodontics
Always eager to learn, Dr. Krieg attends numerous continuing education courses each year to stay current with the latest trends and techniques in the field of orthodontics. He’s also an active member of several national orthodontic study clubs.
These groups are attended by some of the finest orthodontists in the country who gather annually to share their best ideas.
In addition to learning, he enjoys teaching and is affiliated with the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School.
Additionally, he serves as a faculty advisor to the student chapter of the Christian Dental Association on campus and is active in promoting dental missions both locally and overseas. He has also published original research material in an international orthodontic journal.
